“Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more.”
~ Anthony Robbins
You have an opportunity to take martial arts. You are in a great school and have great instructors. It takes a commitment from you, the student, but it also takes a commitment from your parents or guardians. They spend their time and money to get you to class. This opportunity is a gift, so you have a responsibility to do the best you can, come to class when you are supposed to, and show your parents or guardian that their time and money is appreciated. As a martial art student, you also have the opportunity to take what you learn, like motivation, determination, and respect, and use it in other situations, like when you are at school or with your friends.
1. Do you feel it is important to be the best you can be?
2. What can you do to be a role model to your friends?
3. How can you make the best use of your martial arts education?
